Develop Leadership
Learn the mindset, habits, and character required to lead yourself, your family, and others well.
Most people are taught a single formula: go to school, work for forty years, and hope for a comfortable retirement. There is nothing wrong with that path. But it is not the only option.
For over a decade, we have been building, learning, and mentoring in the business ownership and e-commerce space. What started as a solo pursuit to rethink ownership and income has grown into a tight-knit collective. We are a group of people who decided the standard path wasn't enough - and chose to build something of our own.
The WORK Initiative exists to help people grow personally, professionally, and financially through mentorship, education, and practical experience.
Learn the mindset, habits, and character required to lead yourself, your family, and others well.
Learn how scalable business systems can be built alongside your existing commitments.
Develop practical budgeting, planning, and money management principles that support long-term goals.
Learn directly from people with years of experience building businesses, developing leaders, and helping others grow.
An Alignment of Values
We have known each other since the first grade. We grew up in rural Alberta, married at 24, and are now raising our children.
Before we got married, a piece of advice changed the trajectory of our lives:
"You can make two different personalities work, but you can never make two different value systems work."
We sat down separately and wrote out our core values. Every single one matched. Not one of them had to do with climbing a corporate ladder or trading a lifetime of hours for a paycheck.
Our values were entirely about family, presence, and intentional living.
Russell bypassed the traditional route at 19 to pursue entrepreneurship. Wacey earned her degree in criminal justice and was headed for a career in law until she realized that the traditional path would require sacrificing the exact presence she valued most.
We wanted a lifestyle where our work supported our marriage, family, and values rather than competing with them. That is why The WORK Initiative exists.
This platform is not open to the public.
If we have not already spoken directly, there is nothing for you here, and that is by design. We do not accept blind inquiries, applications, or public sign-ups. We are intentional about who we spend time with and highly protective of the culture we've built.
If you're someone who values personal growth, leadership, business ownership, and learning how experienced entrepreneurs have built alongside what they were already doing, we'd be open to a conversation.
We're not looking for everyone. We're looking for people who are genuinely curious, willing to learn, and committed to building something meaningful. If that sounds like you, and we've already connected, we'd be happy to continue the conversation.
